A Count Down: Azerbaijan

Hello Internet friends!

I’ve got a little announcement coming in a couple of weeks….and figured in the lead up to it, I’d take you along with me on an insta-trip.

We start here. January 2016. In Baku. On the top of the 12th century Maiden Tower, the city’s iconic 21st century Flame Towers to my back, the Caspian Sea in front of me.

My first visit to Azerbaijan. Nowhere near my last.

And my first meal— a bowl of Dushbara at Cizz Bizz Restaurant in Baku’s old town. Unassuming visually, perhaps, but mind-blowingly delicious 🇦🇿
